I remember seeing the “Ha” video and thinking, “What the f*ck is going on?” I got so involved in New Orleans rap. It was this guy with gold teeth next to a yellow Ferrari and he’s not even rhyming his words. Is that a chorus? He didn’t come out with “Back That A** Up” [yet], he came out with “Ha” and it was different and authentic. I heard the [Jay-Z] remix had to be mailed in.
